Erik Andelman, LMT – Presenter

Erik Andelman is a life-long athlete, teacher, and physical culturalist: a high-school and collegiate cross-country runner, a long-time rock climber, cyclist, Yogi, and practitioner of Brazilian Jujitsu.  By trade, he is a Licensed Massage Therapist and personal fitness trainer.  He was introduced to massage in 1992 when he studied Russian sports massage as part of his college education.  He would study Reiki in Malaysia, Traditional Thai massage in Thailand, and Yoga in India.  As he traveled through different cultures, his observations of people’s health, movement, and posture profoundly influenced his perspectives.  Between his travels, he was served as an English Teacher, Climbing Coach, Software Engineer, Cook, Yoga Teacher, and Off-grid Homesteader.  In 2011 he devoted himself to the massage profession and began practicing alongside his Yoga teaching and fitness coaching.  His teaching style is hands-on and always emphasizes practitioner mechanics for longevity.  Erik believes that massage can be practiced in a beneficial way for both the client and the practitioner, and his central influence has been Thai massage
