Before you begin inputting your courses, please understand how the free CE Broker account works.
The free account will store all the classes you took, but it does not verify them against the Tennessee Massage Licensure Board’s requirements. This means that even if you completed every class you were supposed to, the free account may still show “Not Compliant.” This does not mean you made a mistake. The free account simply does not include the feature that checks your required hours for you. You will need to look at your required hours and compare them with your completed classes on your own. You are not required to pay for CE Broker. The Tennessee Massage Licensure Board can see all of your classes during an audit, even if you only use the free account.
Important Notice: ACE Transition to Paperless Transcripts & Certificates
Effective January 1, 2026, Arbor Continuing Education (ACE) will transition to a fully paperless transcript and certificate system to better support Licensed Massage Therapists in Tennessee with a smoother, more reliable compliance and renewal process. All course records (transcripts/certificates) will be emailed to the email address on file in a board‑ready digital format to the participant within seven (7) business days of course/seminar completion. This change eliminates the risk of misplaced paper certificates, aligns with the Tennessee Massage Licensure Board’s increasing reliance on digital documentation, and reflects ACE’s commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency. We encourage participants to verify their email address and contact information when registering for a course. For questions or additional information, please contact .
Effective January 1, 2026, all Health‑Related Board professions in Tennessee, including Licensed Massage Therapists, must report Continuing Education (CE) through the State’s third-party official digital CE platform, CE Broker.
For any licensee selected for audit, only continuing education documented in CE Broker by the audit deadline will be considered. CEs that have been completed but not uploaded will result in a finding of non‑compliance. Beginning January 1, 2026, every Tennessee LMT is required to maintain a CE Broker account and submit all CE hours through the platform. CE Broker will serve as the mandatory system of record for verifying CE compliance for both audits and license renewal. Massage Therapists are strongly encouraged to review their CE Broker accounts and ensure all continuing education hours are accurately reported well in advance of any audit or renewal cycle.

CREATING YOUR CE BROKER ACCOUNT
AS A MASSAGE THERAPIST IN TENNESSEE
Creating your CE Broker account is an important step in ensuring that your continuing education is accurately tracked and reported to your licensing board. To begin, open your web browser and go to www.cebroker.com. Once the homepage loads, click Sign In in the upper‑right corner and select Create Account to start the setup process.
- You will first be asked to choose your account type. CE Broker offers several service tiers, but most massage therapists will find that the Free Basic Account meets all essential needs. Select the Basic Account unless you prefer additional upgraded features, then click Continue to move forward.
- Next, you will enter your personal information. CE Broker will request your full legal name, the email address you want to use for login, a secure password, and an optional phone number to assist with account recovery. After completing these fields, click Next.
- The system will then prompt you to link your professional license. This step links your CE Broker profile to your massage therapy license, ensuring your continuing education is tracked correctly. You will need your license number, the state where you are licensed, and your professional designation (e.g., Massage Therapist or LMT). CE Broker will attempt to automatically verify your license. If it cannot locate your information, double-check that your name and license number match exactly as they appear on your license.
- After linking your license, check your email for a verification message from CE Broker. Open the email, click the verification link, and return to the CE Broker website to sign in. Once your account is active, navigate to My Records to review your renewal cycle and confirm your required CE hours and categories, such as ethics or hands‑on coursework. Reviewing this information early helps you stay compliant and avoid last‑minute issues.
- You can then upload or verify your CE credits. To upload a course, go to Report CE, select the appropriate course type, enter the course details, upload your certificate, and submit the information.
At this point, your CE Broker account is fully set up and ready to track your continuing education, helping you remain in good standing with your licensing board.
