Description: In this comprehensive 12‑hour training, participants will explore the structure and function of the lymphatic system, with a focused study of the watersheds of the neck, face, and head. Through guided demonstration and hands‑on practice, students will learn and apply the five foundational Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) strokes, integrating them into clear, repeatable protocols for each region.

Building on this anatomical and theoretical foundation, learners will practice a complete neck sequence, including opening the terminus (the primary drainage point) and directing lymphatic fluid through established pathways. Emphasis is placed on precision, intention, and therapeutic pacing—skills essential for reducing post‑surgical and post‑traumatic edema, supporting deep parasympathetic relaxation, enhancing cosmetic outcomes, and offering adjunctive support for chronic conditions such as migraine headaches and fibromyalgia.  Throughout the course, participants will deepen their understanding of how gentle, rhythmic manual techniques can influence fluid dynamics, tissue health, and overall well‑being. By the end of the training, students will be able to confidently perform region‑specific MLD routines and understand when, why, and how to apply them safely and effectively. This coursework is grounded in the pioneering methods of Drs. Emil and Astrid Vodder, Ph.D., and incorporates clinical adaptations developed by Dr. Etelka and Michael Földi, MD.
