IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE REGISTERING
Who Needs This Course:
• You DO NOT need this course if you already have a Tennessee Massage License, or you completed your massage education in Tennessee.
• You NEED this course if you do not have a Tennessee Massage License and you attended a massage school outside of Tennessee.
Class Format:
This course is NOT available online. It must be completed on-site at our school.
Course Description:
Arbor College–School of Massage offers a 5‑hour Tennessee Massage Law Course specifically designed for individuals who completed their massage education outside the state and need this requirement for Tennessee licensure. This instructor‑facilitated independent study course delivers up‑to‑date information on Tennessee’s massage therapy laws and regulations. The course is approved by the Tennessee Massage Licensure Board and taught by Dr. Ed Bolden‑Greer.
At the conclusion of the course, you will complete a multiple‑choice examination to demonstrate your understanding of the material. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass.
Class Details:
Location: 6500 Papermill Drive, First Floor, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37919
Frequency: Held monthly on campus.
Please Note:
• This course is NOT intended for Continuing Education hours. Please review the course description thoroughly before registering.
• Your massage school MUST be approved by the Massage Licensing Board in the state where you completed your training.
• Schools designated as “UNAPPROVED” by the California Massage Therapy Council do not meet eligibility requirements for this course.
